Foreign journalists attending media development workshop visit Taiwan News.

Twenty-seven journalists from as many countries got introduced to ”The Multi-faceted Development of Print Media” during a visit to Taiwan News on April 25.

Jack Wong, the president of Taiwan News, told the group invited to the 2008 Workshop on Taiwan's Media Development that print journalism is giving way to digitalization in Taiwan. People under 45 hardly read newspapers anymore. In fact, the trend is to go to the Internet for information, said Wong.

The participants in the workshop organized by the Taiwan International Cooperation and Development Fund from April 23 to May 6 showed interest in the Taiwan News with a tabloid format, the Chinese-language Taiwan News Weekly, the Taiwan News Online, the Taiwan News Express, and the Taiwan News TV.
