Repetto, taken over by Jean-Marc Gaucher in 1999 and renowned the world over today, continues to produce all its ballet shoes in a factory in Dordogne and has decided to celebrate this birthday by inviting 60 artists, from Brigitte Bardot to Jean-Paul Gaultier, to explain their version of the shoe. This led to an exhibition revealed at their prêt-à-porter fair in Paris last September as well as in the flagship boutique of the House in rue de la paix and in several cities around the world in 2008.
